I'm using the same link Aonarch posted and it's been seamless since the beginning.

Anyone have currently using a live timing and scoring page? The one on lemans.org and fiawec.com are both crap.

I remember in previous years there was a good one. It was very comprehensive. You can even choose which categories you want displayed. Maybe it was either lemans.org or fiawec.org but for this year they switched to a crappier version.

These cars are able to run 24 hours with the same brake pads or do they do a quick swap somehow?

the prototypes will run the whole race on a set of carbon pads and rotors.

the GT cars will monitor wear, and replace the cast iron rotors and related pads if necessary.

when they do replace them, some teams will replace a whole corner as a kit with quick disconnects that maintain brake pressure, or they'll leave the caliper on and swap pads and rotors. either way is quite quick.

Manager of car 66, can you KINDLY* ask your driver to not spread gravel over the track on the way in?

      *thanks CL crew!

Touareg Hybrids are pretty nice, and the warm fuzzies I felt while driving the hybrid was actually the fingers of all of the German tax payers trying to reach into my wallet to get their money back. (Brendan@bwalkauto)

Also, those GT cars have 4 or 6 piston calipers so swapping out the pads are super easy and quick. Pull a pin on the top of the caliper, pop out the old pads like toast from a toaster. They even have a special piston spreader tool. Then pop in the new pads and replace the pin(s?).

Easier than a single piston caliper on a typical street car.

So, is Aston Martin's performance in GTE Pro proof that balance of performance works, proof that BoP sucks, or both?
