Looks great! I am glad to see the number keeps growing.
Thanks for your hard work and dedication to the 20th AE.
Just picked it up last night, so my picture(if it works) is a bit lame...#3847 w/ESP, in New Canaan, CT.
I'm sure part of it is that it's just new, but it still feels much better than my '02 GTI with the sport suspension. The front end feels planted better, and the rear end feels looser...probably the tires. The gearbox is great--love the shifts! The exhaust growls slightly...very nice. Oh, and the feel of the steering wheel & shift knob is a nice touch. I do wish there were more red accents on the interior, though.
I know there's nothing new in those few first impressions...

yellow20thgti - When you move, just email me and i'll match the email address up to the one you used when you registered, and then i'll make the change.
DrDomm - You might want to adjust the tire pressures. 32 front, 30 rear.
Went to go register my new Jazz Blue #2555 into the registry and i noticed the destroyed section. I am the first person in it. Congrats to me. I took the numbered plate with me before saying goodbye to the car. So i will always remember it. Lets hope the engine and tranny from the car find a good home one day in a older vw.
Keeping the dash plaque from 3021 is an excellent idea bluejetta95. By doing that, it ensures that the next owner doesn't buy it thinking it's in prime condition. Excellent thinking!

Every couple days, I check eBay for 20th GTIs, and check to see if they have the number listed, or in a picture. If the auction does show the number, I make sure to "spot" it on the Registry.
Nameci - Thanks. But if you see a 20AE on the road or parking lot, and the number is not in the registry, then just submit it as spotted, and use the state on the license plate!
KC Jazz - Hopefully there aren't many of our 20AE cars getting sold that way. I know that when i someday sell my 20AE (years from now), i expect to get top $$. I'm not selling this car for peanuts!
Taken this morning while at the stealership:
#3268 Imola Yellow
#3416 Imola Yellow
Larry Roesch VW/ Orland Park, IL
(Yet, I'm still the only IY in the neighborhood). 3416 Getting closer to 4000.
(It is also a coincidence I'm a REAL doctor. Dr Hank McCoy is Beast from X-men. Who is Nog Blue, like my old S4 )

Yup. if you check the registry you'll see number #4000 has been spotted. How cool would it be to have #0001 or #4000?
