Anybody need tickets for the brewer game this saturday? My brother does a huge tailgate event with homemade corn brats and tons of food, a couple tappers, even private porta potties... I had to bail, I have too much going on. I know he's got a handful of extra tickets for the game and/or for the party too. I think he's got 100 people coming to his tailgate event.

Changed my mind... I'm going. Anybody else going to be at the game on Saturday? If so, you need to come to our tailgating party!

Is the lighthouse at Lakeside still the "cool" place to be in Fondy? Never much cared for the crowds that tend to hang out there, myself. Too many underage kids, too much stupid ****. Cops like to come around, and I do my best to avoid the law as much as possible.

just wanted to say whats up to everyone. i now own a dub again and will probably find myself on the tex again from time to time. not gonna read the probably 300+ pages to catch up on how everyones been but notice there are some new people now also. collin congrats on the kiddo! i wouldnt mind getting in on cruise sometime, not sure when you guys have one planned for but none the less would be fun.

Got myself a 98 gls for the daily driver. I drive at least 500 miles a week, so something to save gas and put miles on was my intentions. and cheap. havent done a whole lot to the car yet except maintenance. but the exhaust i made and the oil change made me happy to have a veedub again. next on list is drain the trans and run some MT-90. as much as id like to do more to the car, its far from practicle. BUT AT LEAST IM NOT DRIVING A 97 NEON!!! if anyone has a thule444 laying around they are looking to get rid of let me know. i could really use a rack to put ladders on for work. dont want to put muddy ladder all over the interior. and i still have my GLX leathers in the garage i want to swap in.

Anyways good to be back to the community. glad to see new faces as well as the OGs. and Adam, i really enjoy all the food/drink porn on facebook.

if it was a silver one, that's one of my buddies. lol. its a pretty sweet truck.

i think i was the only dubber in FDL for a little while there. seems like more and more people are moving in the area which is nice.

I love having a mk3 as a daily, my current black GL I bought for $1000 and did the timing belt, waterpump, etc when I bought it and haven't put a penny into it since. Geez, that was 2 years ago now!

Can do. I don't recall seeing anything with textured trim/skirts, but if I spy anything, I'll take pics. The cars should be pretty safe to sit til the weekend or whenever, the VW's seem to have all been picked over - but the cars pretty much go untouched until I get my mitts on em.

EDIT: got sucked into working late, won't make it over there before they close. Tomorrow probably.
