**** **** ****... I didn't get Scooters gtg on the calendar and now I'm double booked with the beer, bacon, and cheese event in New Glarus and we have family meeting us from Iowa, so I can't bail.

Along those same lines... I totally need to get working in the garage or I'll never get my car running!!! Anybody with a clue on replacing piston rings/plastigauge have time to help a brotha out? Once I get the pistons set, I can start putting things together on this block...

I'm planning on organizing a cruise down again this year. This time I'll probably have some additions to the route based on meanvw's former VENOM Kettle Cruises since it's essentially what direction we would be going in. I'm gonna see if I can get the route file from him and we'll plan a meeting time accordingly. Last year we got there too early. I'm thinking maybe we leave the Oshkosh Hardee's by JoeD's house around noon maybe? I plan on making a stop outside of Green Bush near the Wade House for anyone that wants to join use from Sheboygan, Green Bay, etc.

Woot, can't wait to put my hobby plates on! Got my rings spaced today and bought some plastiguage.. Might try the rod bearing spacing bit later tonight after I clean up the pistons a bit.. Hopefully it cools off a tinge. Kinda want to light a fire.
