Anyone know of a service shop that specializes in BMW?

Need to find an independent dealer that's got an Auto Logic unit to re-flash my ECU.

    Bergstrom wants ~250. Eff that.

Anyone have experience getting the O2 sensor off the cat on an OBD2 MkIII? Having a little issue getting it off. I'm assuming it disconnects somewhere besides the engine, but I'm having issues figuring out how to do it exactly.

There should be a plug somewhere by the rear motor mount.

  11. 10-06-2012 05:28 PM #45651
If nothing has ever been messed with there should be a little bracket thing on the rear mount the wires are routed into.

Faaaack. Rusty nuts on the rear exhaust support stripped. Guess I'm not getting that off today. Headache after headache so far...may have to see if there's a shop somewhere that will do it with just the test pipe. Anyone know of a place in fondy?

Anyone have any ideas on a place that will do it? Or someone in the area who might have the ability to help me out and would be willing to come give me a hand in exchange for some

Where did you buy your 337? It looks like my old one, albeit missing the BBS RC's and the front lip looks gone.

Got any pics of the engine or interior?

Spotted - Cory cruising down 441 yesterday. ALMS TT license plate? Thought it said Thera?

Went to back to King this weekend for another dyno session.

    Pretty happy with the results:

355.8 hp and 371.17 ft lbs.

Since my last dyno session - I changed tunes from Dinan S2 to Cobb, and installed an Injen intake. Pretty good numbers for just a flash and intake!

Picked up 32.15 hp and 47.96 ft lbs over the last configuration. Losing a lot up top due to heat soak - can't wait to go back next spring with down pipes and an IC, hopefully I'll break 400 whp. Should be good for mid 11's on the 1/4.

That's my old car. I was the 2nd owner. Would you mind sharing what you paid for it and where you found it?

I had it pretty tastefully modded - APR 93 software, APR 3" downpipe, TIP, HKS rear sway bar, SPEC stage 3 clutch, NSP boost gauge in a 42dd pod, etc.

Some kid from Sheboygan (I think) bought it from me and riced it out pretty good - then was trying to sell it for more than he paid. That was the last I saw of it.

He lost the front lip due to backing out of driveway in WINTER!

Yea, I can already tell it's my old car. I'm the guy that put together the huge spreadsheet with each gas fill up, mod, etc.

That was a fun little car - and pretty competitive at auto-x's. I placed first in my class every time I raced it.

Yup! When i bought it they gave me a huge file of all the work that has been done to it!

i took the car to volkswagon in appleton and had them check everything over and they said that for the miles it has (180k), that everything was pretty close to perfect (Mechanically)

i can drive it 5k miles on synthetic oil and not use a drop! i am so happy with this car and i am glad to know that it was taken care of so well.

As of now i am saving up money for a new radiator / front lip
then possibly get it repainted (same color)

Showyourtts has a vagcom, I believe the price is He posted on this page, he's in Neenah.

Wow, I haven't been here in awhile.. been crazy busy. Sadly, I closed the hood and put the cover over the corrado on Saturday.... haven't touched it since the last push to get the new engine in.. not sure if it will get touched again till spring, we'll see. Sad to see it just sitting there with a new heart ready to be transplanted into it. I'll have to make some arrangements to get an engine hoist in the spring for a day to get the big swap done.. then it's all about hooking **** back up.

Cool to see a local modded dub back in good hands and unriced!

Yep...got new plates. The old ones were from my Ex and I. Plus they were endangered species plates and expensive as hell to renew.

    Damn.....quiet in this place.

And yes...I have a VAGCOM. Will borrow for beer. PM me.
