Guys,
I've been in WC for over a year now (moved all the way from MALVERN, )...
But I think I've only met maybe one Vortexer, maybe two.

I'm just curious, list who you are and why you are in WC (ie. Student at WCU, resident, etc...).

Maybe we can put a little something informal together...no car show or anything serious like that...

I'm in WC right off of RT 202/Boot Road by Phoenixville Pike/711 (Townhouses)...I live here.

I'm up in philly for school right now, but I live in manayunk (right by king of prussia). Over the summer, I was in Westchester damn near every night, drinking. During the weekends, I usually chill up there too, because a lot of my friends live and go to school at wcu (its like the owen j roberts 13th grade up there).

I'm not sure that I can make it Friday night...we'll see.
I don't know how long I could hang but I'm up for meeting everybody and putting a name to the face.

Seems all the GTG's are large regional gatherings (ie. Philly home depot or KOP/Valley Forge)...never something that is truely "local".

Anybody ever see the Wendy's in town ( middle of West Chester) there is always about 10-15 cars. Last time I went down, there were Sti's , Evo's, NSX's ... and all.

Who's ride do I always see in town , its a Mk4 Green Gti with full body kit. Nice Ride

I just passed you on swedesford road last friday at lunch time. Also passed you when you were turning into your development a week or two ago. Stop following me around man ! Your car is so much hotter than mine... why do you stalk me ?

I 2nd the idea of the new wawa on 100... its a 1/2 mile from my house. Plenty of parking, we wouldn't draw too much attention. But how bout the middle of the week sometime ?

Hey, Sorry I didn't see you...
You know what? I probably did but it's hard to tell from the front if it's a Golf or a GTi... I quit waiving to Golfs after about a thousand clueless ppl (driving a four door golf) looked at my like, "huh?".

It's hard to tell an enthusiest dub anymore (from the front anyway)...
The mk3's were easier cause you'd either have a VR6 badge or a red GTi badge on the front...
I'll keep my eye out for you dude, maybe I should just start waiving to every single dub on the road...This way I can cover my bases.

As for the WAWA...I was actually talking about the new Wawa on Paoli Pike by the Wendy's right in town (west chester, across from Pep Boys).

The new one on Rt 100...which one is that? The one in Exton, Marchwood area by rt 113?

As for going to the beach...
I wish, but now I'm married so I'm coordinating 2 schedules...and it's a bit harder to get down there...

There's actually two new super wawas, one near marchwood (which is the wawa that is like 5 seconds from my moms house), and there is another brand new one about 5 minutes further down in eagle, a little past the turn pike.

not 113, it's technically in west chester still, if you head out of town towards exton down rt100, you'll pass the golf course and all, come up the hill past the cemetery to a light and that is the NEW wawa. the one across from pep boys is chill, just it is a highly active spot, cops and cars in and out a lot, good location for gas fillups apparently. i've heard there are GTG at the wendys right there.

Hey about 2 months ago in erdenheim (near ft. washington) a red VR6 flagged me down and i stopped and we talked for a bit. I drive a 337. Post back if you're on here?

seems like we could get alot of people together. I dont think the big wawa next to pep boys would be a good spot, way to many people there! This is where i would put my 2 cents for a spot, but i cant think of anywhere...somewhere like the top level of the parking garage(across Turks head) would be a cool photo spot. Or maybe a park where we can all bring some food to grill.

Barker Park off of Falcon Lane (5 mins from East High school)
they have about 30 car parking i imagine and it's a park, picnic benches and a gazebo, but you may need written authorization to meet there

Can't say i've seen too many that can keep up with chipped 1.8t's or you guys who have the SC VR6

yeah i have a buddy who has the APR direct port programming (i think its called) and he starts at a bout 8lbs an when he gets on it it spikes at about 22lbs a boost...pretty cool for a pretty much stock car.

You're right...now that I think of it that WaWa is a bad spot.
The other wawa may be a good spot (on 100 leaving WC towards Exton past the golf course)...
