Any one know of any good welders? My friend went to have the windshield replaced on his mkII and the lower support (down by the dash) is pretty rotted out...legally they weren't allowed to put a new windshield in so now he's got no windshield and and some serious rust he needs addressed. poor kid, just bought the car a couple weeks ago too.

Whatever the place is that used to be (or maybe still is) motion 3. I remember hearing about another place called BradFab, not sure if that's the one in the old location. They are in the delco area by Mike Tansey's shop.

Yeah, the guy who did all the welding for motion 3 (or at least for exhaust work) is no longer with them last I hear. He actually bought the car off Eric (works with Tansey). Def. no way of knowing it was there till the glass came off.
I think he's already reached out to bradfab but, possibly emailed detailed pictures but it's raining and the car currently has no windshield so I's landlocked unless he car covers it and gets it towed. Kid has had some pretty rotten luck with cars lately...plus he's supposed to be leaving for SOWo tomorrow.

One of the cleanest M3 and it's in excellent condition, you will not be able to find a E36 M3 in this kind of condition!

No, we are postponing since people can't make it. We'll try again next month. I called the place and they said they need a total of 10 people for them to hold the event. Otherwise, it's not worth it for them.

Any of you guys know someone who knows someone you might even know someone who is parting out a big bumper GTI?

Maybe even has some parts laying around (basically just the moldings for the side skirts and all the arches)

I can try to get the front lip and the bumpers back to black for the textured areas, but it'll take some time. Looking to buy sometime after SoWo.

You're right, SOWO was great and everyone needs to make it down there at some point! The driving at the end was funny how no one was together. But shell and i were hydroplaning all over the road so he slowed down and then Rocket just took the hell off
