Yeah, Jason. Mortgages are hard to come by these days. Many require some sort of down payment and want your whole life's story before the approval stamp.

You'll still have to sell for a little more than what you bought for to compensate for the 6% realtor's commission...unless you do a for sale by owner. Good luck, though. Hope it works out for you.

You forgot about the motel on the corner that my wife loved so much. It would have been an ideal location if I liked to play tennis in the winter, however.

I think "making money" on houses is total **** unless you go in to really 'add value' to it. Sitting in it for a few years isn't going to do anything because once you go to buy your next house, you're spending more for that, and so-on. Well, until the market took a crap for that exact reason..

Some of the best looking short term "homes" and people I have ever witnessed. I still remember the guy being chased but what could best be described as a mob and running across 4 lanes of rt 40 traffic with me and tim almost ending his life with an 80 mph 740i.

for those of you with 12v vr knowledge/experience: is a 4bar fpr a good idea to use in conjunction with 268 cams, mk4 head gasket, and c2 chip? obd2

Went to meet some dude in Bridgewater, NJ today to buy a set of 18" Detroit wheels.

$800, 5,000 miles on Hankook tires, TPMS and extra clean wheels(no rash, no scratches, etc.).

      10am sharp.

Dude shows up 30 minutes late. Pulls the wheels out of his GTI which was on steelies. The wheels were FILTHY(understatement). It was obvious he had driven them in the snow for awhile before he took them off and put on the steelies. First wheel I looked at had curb rash. Second wheel I looked at had curb rash. I told him no deal and he freaked! He started swearing and talking trash saying I wasted his time. I asked him what his definition onf mint condition was. I told him he wasted MY time and it was MY cash and I didn't want wheels that were all effed up.

4 hours this morning down the crapper.

On a completely different note. Is anyone doing anything for the game tonight?
      Don't tread on me.

Your first mistake was being willing to pay $800.

Sucks though. Was douche-nozzle a Vortex member?

Yeah, his name is "Myfast87" on Vortex. Here is the message he sent me(with phone # deleted)

"Yes as I had states before I will give u the tpms sensors everything is perfect as I stated give me a text or call at (phone # deleted) so we can discuss the meet up done deal thanks"

Notice the line "everything is perfect". Fail.

PSU, do you think $800 is too much for a set of Detroits? I am gonna hold off for awhile and resume the search in March and I want to make sure I get the best deal.

I think so, unless they are a dealer take off.

You can get the 17" Detroits with good tires in the ballpark of $300.

Still can't believe a fellow member screwed you over like that. I could see if it were someone random off of Craigslist, but wow; a fellow Vortex member.
