Mother pulls up and needs a battery, I put on my teacher voice, and get her 9 y/o to hose the car for me, hahahaha. So glad my buddy at the shop got this picture.
Well, forecast shows a nice stockish 12v swap shortly after New Year's. 3.6 is too far away financially, and I am already not loving the 2liter in there, and i happen to know an extremely reliable fella with a perfect swap for me.
Yea, don't i? I was really hoping on a star for a whole grill first, but i may hit a junkyard tomorrow. Should be out of work at 2 on a friday. :devilhorns:
I'm actually wanting to take it to the track the soonest time it's open after i get the motor mounts/control arm bushings done. I actually do want to go run a stock golf. umpkin:
Did r32 control arm bushings, and realigned considering them and the new wheels/tires. This is like 100th set of these i've put in for myself and others, but i haven't done it in awhile. It was amazingly easy considering how stressful an operation it once was for me. Damn does the car barrel recklessly up some off ramps with minimal sketch now....
I also spent entirely too much time putting my rear rub strips on right.
Tim, lmk when you're in bean town and we can both make a fool of this aba money pit
