hello, is there an installation guide or any pics of the install?

We don't have any install instructions, but the installation is very straight forward. Here is the manifold with a GT3071R on top. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

i'm interested in going bt, what would need to be upgrader in order to handel this, and what kind of warranty would come with this?

Basic Turbo Hardware Kit
Fuel Injectors
Software
Those are the basics, you should also have a good FMIC. The turbo warranties vary on which one you choose, and they are listed on the website: http://www.ctsturbo.com

noob question: will the install differ from an automatic to a manual? anything different you'd need to upgrade?

You shouldn't have any issues installing this on an auto, but I do suggest a good FMIC with this kit. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

how reliable would this be for a dd i want to go bt but this is my dd

They are very reliable, a basic 50trim kit Garrett 48ar will make 280-320hp depending on how much boost you run, and bolt up to your stock or upgraded downpipe, so there are no emissions problems on that end. Also there is software available to get rid of so many problematic sensors that cause CELs. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

How long after i purchase this kit does my tranny go?

Depends if you drive like me or not
I haven't had anyone blow up trannys with this setup yet http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif But you should get a good clutch down the line.

when running this setup or kit do you need to do your connecting rods the last thing i want is to bend a rod after I spent all that money

You don't need connecting rods for the setup http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif with a 50trim and a 48ar housing 17-20psi you'll be good to go.
