I have a usa reflex silver jetta trunk and was wanting to get a euro. trunk lid. If anyone is up for the trade get at me through a message or my cell. 503-260-0771
how do you put your guys rear plates in then? You could ship it without cutting, it would just cost more. If you let know how much a trunk would be for shipping that would be great:thumbup:
Yeah, I just tried to ship my wife's 11 pound chihuahua/dachsun to her from Frankfurt to Alabama. I got quoted $1500!! **** those people!! ****in idiots!
Um... Yeah I paid almost $60 in shipping just for a intake:facepalm: I ordered a rear valence a few months back for my R and I didn't pay no where near $500
Shipping here is different than shipping stateside. I assume you bought your valence from a company, and some of them have contracts in place that allow them to ship larger items.
But believe me, you can't ship a bumper, core support, trunk, or a dead hooker USPS if it's over a certain size and weight. Only route is DHL and it's €€€€
Shipping a trunk through DHL is 68€ ($90) if you bent the top edges, because it's a bit to long. DHL ships up to 120cm, a trunk is around 123cm at the longest side.
Got a DIY kit for an euro trunk laying around, lmk if you're interested. Plate cutout, wiring loom and trunk inlay for warning triangle.
