 The Official VgRt6 MKIV/VR6 DIY Thread Master List« »

I'm posting a master list of links to the DIYs that I create so those that find them useful can subscribe to the list and be updated whenever I post a new one.

These DIYs are the result of work that I have performed on my 1999.5 MKIV Jetta GLS VR6. They are all specific to either the MKIV Jetta and/or the VR6 engine, but should still be useful to owners of other MKs and/or engines.

I will be updating this list as soon as I perform another job/repair on my car and make a DIY for the procedure. I will also be listing DIYs that are in the works and others that are on the horizon.

Feel free to post DIYs that you would like to see put together for your own or other's benefit. If I happen to do the job, or can write the procedure up quickly, I'll put a DIY together.

UPDATE: I've also decided to post the links for Bentley and VAG-COM procedures that I've posted on the Vortex. This way all of the links are in one convenient place.

Thanks. Glad I could help out. Not all of them are VR6 related. Some are general MKIV and should be of use to you.

My sister and a friend have 1.8Ts. If I ever fix something on one of their cars, then I'll put together a DIY for it.

Well Guys I think the reason Gary does such a great job on the DIY's is his 12 year University background (lots and lots and lots of reading and writing). He was just successfull in getting a job in his field (Materials engineering) on friday.

Now Gary, I hope you don't let this job thing get in the way of the DIY's. HA HA.

Congrats on the job and awesome work on all of the DIY's (I just went through them all)

Don't worry. All of the pics are on one site. If the site stops working for some reason, they'll all be moved to a new site.
