I would like to put a turbo charger on my g60 to have 200 to 220ps
I would like to know what turbo can i put? compressor wheel and turbine wheel ?
i have seen kkk04 t3/t4 an t3 super 60 what is the best for my 8v turbo?

50 trim T3, #30 inj., SnS chip would get you around 220whp. this is providing you have a effiicent enough ICdreadz

i ran a t3 .63 stage 1 super 60 on my g60T motor. It was spooling at 2400rpms and made full boost at 3200-3400rpms. Pulled hard to 6500rpm. It should be plenty to get you to the 200hp mark.

I would probably use a T3 60 trim as it's less expensive than the Super-60. But the Super-60 would give you a little more headroom.

t3/t4e pushing 15 psi kicks in late but hits like a freight train.
get an electronic boost controller and a decent 42# chip
and run more boost its so much fun we have one in the shop,

Super 60's can be had cheaply, however they're not found in any OEM applications, IM me if u want a nice quote on one.

Yep super 60 has wider (2.1")inducer(compressor wheel),and as far as I know,Turbonetics was first to create/market it.Get one with a .48 stage 1 for that hp yu want,or a .63 for more top end........

No, it came with a 60 trim, just measure the inder and you'll see, it has a 1.8x" inducer, the super 60 has a 1.9" inducer and the regular 2.367" exducer, the super 60 compressor wheel is made by turbonetics.

Killa,you are correct,I was thinking of the "Super S trim",IIRC,it WAS 1.8-1.9 in the Turbonetics catalog.

The Super S is just an S-3 wheel with a 3" exducer IIRC, so it'd have a 1.9xx" inducer and the "super" 3 inch exducer oppposed to the normal 2.75" or so. You must be thinking of the Super V, or the H3 wheel.

Then where does this Turbo come from?. It say's ford on the inlet adapter.
Specs:
T3 Super 60:
High performance T3 .63 a/r (stage 2 wheel) Turbine and .60 T3 compressor with exducer
of 2.3 (super 60)

Either its a 60 trim or it was machined to fit the super 60 wheel in it.

That's a ford compressor housing machined to fit a super 60 compressor wheel, if u want i'll even tell u the name of the guy who built it on IM

turbo g60, i think the super 60 is a little late boostin unless you can build your set up to spool it up a little faster then itd be great. but it depends on what you want. some like late boost and like it to come hard. i opted for the 60 trim standard t3 because i like my low compression motor boostin eariler. gives it more of that charger feeling. that ish is ass slow before the turbo spools, i couldnt stand it if that turbo spooled any later.

I use a regular T3-60 trim, works pretty well. Good all around drivability.
1990 Corrado ABA TURBO 2035cc, twin throttle bodies, brakes, suspension, carbon fiber hood, reiger bumper/side skirts, and other stuff

You have to be kidding me to think you can tell or feel the difference between a 60 T3 and a Super 60 T3.You'd need lab equipment to find a difference.

haha, I was thinking the same thing when I read his post. I dont know what you guys are complaining about I saw full boost (22psi) by 3200-3400rpm) on my .63 a/r super 60. If you want quicker spool up get a .48 stage 1. I liked that turbo so much, I will be buying another one for my daily driver.

The ford 60 trim housings are big enough to put a super 60 wheel inside with no machining this is per my turbo rebuilder. thats why he uses the ford turbo coupe turbos. less work and save him and me money.

Wouldn't a ball bearing center section really help the bigger turbos (super 60, T3/T4) spool up a lot faster?

Yes a ball bearing center section will help with spool up. But a super60 really doesnt need it. Its not a larger turbo. If you want something that preforms and with quick spool up. Look into the GT series of turbos. Be prepared to spend $$$, though.

Every turbo has its purpose. If you're only looking for 200-220, you don't need the larger T04 compressor, all it will do is take more time to spool.

If my memory serves me correctly a t3 super 60 is a very effiencent turbo up to 22psi on a g60 motor. Its been over a year since I did a compressor map though. Either way the turbo is a great match for 15-17psi on a g60 motor.
If you want to go with a t3/t4. I would use a t3/t4E 40 or 46 trim. Id have to do a compressor map to see which one would be best suited.

I think I understand how to size the compressor side of the turbo, but what's the deal with the turbine side? I am building a 1.9 16V motor with a very efficient air-water IC. The bottom end is built for >300 HP, but I also want good low-end torque. I am debating whether to go with a T3-Super 60 or a T3/T4E - the super 46 has an awesome compressor map, no? What turbines would you recommend to drive these compressors with this engine?
