Höri b. Bülach (Zurich), March 2nd, 2004 - Following on from its 20 inch rims for Audi and VW, Sportec, the well-known Swiss car modification company, adds a worldwide exclusive new product to its multi-award winning range of wheel rims. I've always like the Sportec wheels. Very nice.
Although I wouldn't consider 36.2 pounds to be lightweight, it's a different ball game from 16 to 20 inch wheels.

I know, I'm thinking a sub 20 pound wheel is lightweight, damn these things are heavy, but they are also HUGE.

If I had a Toureag, no doubt I'd be sporting a set of these rims. They look like a million bucks.

32.628080000000004 lb. according to:

http://www.kentuckyairtool.com/torque.htm

IMHO, that's not half bad for a 22" wheel. I'd hate to see the pricetag tho...

edit: Okay, it's a cool $1,723.46 ea. The good news or the bad news? Optimists: The package will be relatively light for a 22" wheel. The bad news: it has to come from Europe and there are the obligatory taxes and duties and shipping fees. My guess is another $250 a wheel at a minimum. Reference: 2,200 Swiss Franc = 1,723.46 US Dollar as of 8:27 AM CST March 7, 2004

Whoops. My dyslexia coming to surface. It's 32.6, not 36.2

alright, when do we get to see a Touareg showing off it's offroad potential instead of its pimpin' potential?

I wanna see something that looks like it was ripped it off a safari trail (Land Rovers need not apply)
