New York Auto Show General Coverage | « » 7:15 PM 4-12-2004 | |

Not the largest or most significant of the North American auto shows, one would be mistaken to count New York out. As one of the largest car markets in the USA as well as home to more journalists per square mile than just about anywhere else, automakers place significant emphasis on ending the North American show season with a bang.Held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on Manhattan’s 11th Avenue between 34th and 39th streets, this 846,000 square foot show is in the heart of the New York metropolitan area. As such, it attracts over one million attendees per year and has done so for the past decade. Though new car releases and concepts can always be counted upon, manufacturers also often use New York to show something a little different. Atypical presentations were certainly present, and in some cases drew better reaction than actual new car or concept releases. Read the whole article here: http://www.fourtitude.com/news...age=1

I'm sorry, but when I play with Legos all I can make is stuff with right angles. I guess I just can't see beyond the shape of the pieces

Just to make it clear, the link George posted above (edit) goes to the Fourtitude galleries. For VW pics, go to the VWV galleries here: http://vortex3.rely.net/galler.../2004 (end edit) Thanks VWVortex!
