VWvortex Feature Car: SilverSpooler GTI« »

That Volkswagen is so closely related to Porsche is no surprise to anyone who has spent some time around either car. Even the average car enthusiast probably knows that none other than Dr. Porsche himself designed the original Beetle, and that the earliest cars to wear a Porsche badge were heavily based on Volkswagens as well. The connection has continued over the years, resulting in the 914 and 924, among others. Even today VW’s Touareg shares a platform with Porsche’s Cayenne... Full Story...

Nice car & article. But you didn't include the antenna anywhere. BTW you also spelled Legend wrong in the first few paragraphs...

I hope that I one day see this car...nicest MKIV GTI I've ever seen.

My favorite GTi on the tex and also the car that made me like black wheels.

I've seen the car on two occasions (outside Motopersona and at a cocert in Chi-town) and been left flooredd and speechless. My wife was like: "what's the big deal . . OK hon, you're blocking traffic."

Good work. If I had waited another month on buying my GTi, I would have considered buying this car.

Exactly, I am not even a student anymore, and I know most of those parts are out of my range. I guess that is what I get for having a wife that loves horses, the four legged kind. House and farm came before mods...maybe later I can enjoy a car even close to as nice as yours.
