 So what do you get when you have close to seventy R32’s together at VF-Engineering's new facility? You get one hell of a cool way to spend a Sunday. Eugene Lee (from the SoCal R32 mailing list) got together with Nik Saran from VF-Engineering and the two of them organized a great get-together for R32 and VW enthusiasts alike. The event offered a little bit for everyone, including an install demo, a small car show, a free catered lunch, a generous raffle, and a lot of camaraderie between R32 owners... Full Story...

I was just thinking the same thing when I read it. I only know of one in the States, I believe someone in Washington (the state) owns it. Is is just for teasing purposes Jamie?

VF Engineering brought over one of their European cars, in this case a new Audi A3. They can keep it here for roughly one year for development purposes and then it has to go back.-jamie

I'm amazed that they could get that many cars of a single model that hasn't even been out all that long together in one spot. That's enthusiasm!

Yep, that is the beauty of the R32... I don't think there are many other cars out there where you just KNOW that the driver is an absolute enthusiast. that is one of the coolest gtgs i've ever seen! major props to vf and all the .:R owners that went. i really wish i could afford to sell my jetta and step up in the world...

EIP threw in one of their shortshift "kits" thats rich.. another audi TT shifter arm with blue paint on it.
