 Cheap GPS« »

I really want to find a cheap GPS system for the fact I'm on the road alot, but don't have the money for something expensive... Is there a IPaq or palm pilot or something that has a good cheap unit that GPS can be used on???

Please see 2 GPS threads located below yours. Next time look if there is a thread already opened on the topic before starting a new one. Just helps keep the boards less cluttered.

Just do a search on the web. Here is a link to Fry's. There are many options. You can find a used unit and buy the add on GPS software.

sweet, thanks man... i wish i could go into a store where they knew alot about it and could explain it to me. Then I could go home and buy it, but there isn't really a place with knowledgable people around here...

froogle is google's price search engine. It's designed to scour the internet for places that sell what you're looking for. It's a good starting place to shop and get an idea of the prices.

For a good and incredibly tiny but low featured but WAY cheap GPS, check out the Garmin Geko series (startring around $80, sometime on sale for $60)

It measures 1.9 x 3.9 x .96 inches and weighs 3.1 ounces with batteries, 2.3oz without batteries.

The Geko looks cool to have as a backup or something to throw in the backpack on camping trips- I might get one as a secondary soon.
