1lowvento is definitely the lowest daily driven MKIII i have ever seen. He's got less clearence than a skateboard.

how do you people drive...my car isnt that low and i cracked my lip 2 times...and it is all scratched up...

just gotta learn your routes...and keep a sharp eye peeled. Honestly, I don't understand how people w/ like 60/40's complain about busted oil pans and broken lips. They must drive around like rallye drivers or something.

I think the same thing all the time! I drove my mk2 every day for 2 years with about 1.5" under the subframe and never cracked the lip, cracked the oilpan, or had any problems. I dented the subframe once to see if I could make it over an obstacle I usually avoided (I didn't  ), and grazed the 'pan once on the same bump. Do people seriously not know how to drive? They must hit driveway entrances at 30 mph or something

Seriously...it took me over 2 years of rolling at the ride height in my pics (see sig) to break an oil pan, and that was the sheerest bad luck (Didn't see an unmarked steel plate in the road, corner was unlucy enough to hit the drain plug on my pan).

going that low in a 2.0 is easy a vr6 much much harder...but there are some low cars around the tex...use the search there are many of these "who's the lowest" threads
