if you want to cut and reweld the piping I'm sure you could get it to fit.

Yes with some modifications it will work. For the most part the difference is in the length of tubing to reach the bumper.

You may need to slightly reposition hangers as well.

i just installed a neuspeed exhaust on my jetta that was intended for a GTI

it fit fine besides the fact that it had DTM tips and i had to cut them off and get some new tips, but if you have straight tips your fine!

yea it will. but if you dont have turndowns the tips will stick way far back and melt your rear valance. my friend is running a GTI exhaust on his jetta. after his vlance melted he just got turndowns welded on. no hangers needed to be relocated or anything on his. just the tips where mad tucked.

I put a GHL axle back on my Jetta and it was intended for a GTI.. Only cost me $25 to add some pipe to the back side and get the hanger in the correct place.. So it can be done relatively easy.. Just about any exhaust shop look at an say "yep sure can" if they say they cant well I'm not to sure your at a exhaust shop

The exhaust WILL fit but you will need to shorten/lengthen the tips depending on which way you are going. It depends on what exactly you want the shop to do but just to weld in some tubing or cut some out shouldn't cost much at all. However, not all muffler sections are created the same and some may need more work than others.

hey, i know this post is archived; but I have just recently installed a Jetta exhaust piping system on my 1.8t GTI, and it looks like ****e. the Jetta's are under-valence, while the GTI's are through-valence. extra length aside, it just looks bad.
