to all the guys on this thread:
i will be moving to atl middle of next month from northern virginia (i will miss the guys up here though ). but im looking forward to hooking with with you guys once i get down there. im kinda excited about the move. originally i was supposed to fly down this weekend for apt hunting but i wont be down til the following weekend. i was going to swing by the GTG (in the rental) if i was there.

i most likely will be living intown somewhere. does anyone know anybody renting a condo or townhouse or something let me know.

also, would like to know a cool mod friendly dealer. i did see a thread yesterday about that so i may be covered there.

yep, on aug 15th, there will be a new .:R enthusiast in the area! look forward to some good times!

But the question still remains: Are we going to have enough to eat?

Am I the only one worried about this?

Jim

You're not the only one worried about it. I'm getting concerned that we won't have enough food, too. However, I'm tempering my concern with the knowledge that generally half the people who say they WILL attend, truly DO attend.

I'll update the post later today - I'm covered up right now and updating requires logging into nuppal's account. At the risk of sounding like an arse, if one does not bring food, one should not expect to eat. This way we know we'll have enough food to feed those who are feeding others, as well.

I bought a pack Cheddar Brats when I was getting the drinks. There are only six in the pack, but anyone is welcome to throw down on those.

As for the drinks, I bought three 12 packs, three 2 liters, and two .5 liter 6pks of random flavors. Hope that is enough.

I need to go back to get some fresh rolls. Do we still need pasta or potato salad or anything like that?

Yes it does! I'll revise my previous statement to read "If you're not contributing, we won't be compelled to feed you just cuz you show up." Sorry for the confusion.

AngryGolf (Nick) is bringing 2 grilles. It looks like our turn-out will be lower than expected, so that should cover it. If it doesn't, I will have charcoal on hand as a back-up - we'll just reuse the grilles. Unless, of course, we can get one of the park grilles. Then we'll be in great shape!

BTW, I have the grilling tools, too!

Meet at the picnic table pictured on the map on the orig. post. There's a parking lot north of that icon that is probably best suited for us.

Aiight, just so I get things right... who will be there early? Should I plan on 3:00PM or 5:00PM?

I'm bringing the Sequoia so we can drag off any non-conforming vehicles, as well as the R32.

Come anyway, you can call them on my cell phone from the Park... free LD and free minutes all weekend!

Seriously, sorry to hear about the loss. If it's anything like the last couple ( ) of times I did that, I always find my wallet intact shortly after calling the last bank.

Anyway, come if you can, though, the more the merrier.
