Re: update pics of the caddy (Sam88) »« »

prolly, but i dont plan on driving this truck in the rain much if at all, and the cowl on the hood has been cut out and smoothed so water wont get into my engine bay as easily

i hope i dont get stuck int eh rain considering i took out all kinds of heat, the heater core, defrost, fresh air, a/c...everything was removed

That rear is a little too MiniTruckin' for me...but maybe after paint and a plate itll be a little more subtle

I dont have any handle on my tailgate....i have it bolted shut through the taillight.....no need to use the bed of a truck so small in my opinion

the roll pan is off a chevy s-10 early style

im not sure about the roll pan myself, but if i end up not liking it i can always change it....keep the comments coming...thanx.....deathare...did u used to own the turbo VR caddy?>>

looks like you got some red, and gold and blue going on there. Has this been a project prior to your ownership?
As for the rain tray, I cut mine outta my '80 as well. Didn't notice a seam where it used to be tho. I think the fire wall just bends 90 degrees at the top and heads under the windshield. You may want to put in an upper stress bar since you did take out some of the rigidity in the front.
