here are a few older pics of my corrado project. It is rear wheel drive, it has a independednt suspension and a borg and warner 5 speed transmission. I started by installing the rear axle assembly. Then made a adapter to connect the 02a bell housing to the transmission. then made a front sub frme to hold it and the engine up in place....Here are a few old pics, I will post some more newx week with the sheet metal, front sway bar and engine / trans mounts all installed.

Way cool! You're sticking with the vr6? I was expecting a 350 stuffed in there, lol. Definitely an ambitious project and worthy of the effort. Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing your progress. Good luck!!

I will post more pics on monday. It would be interesting to see how this car runs againest a rear engine mount car?? I know the engines good for over 450whp, 2.9 turbo with stand alone. Ive seen a car with the same rear car cut 1.4 60 foot times, so thats promising, with similar hp. If the trans can't take the adapter will also fit a richmond gear box as well, that would be the next step.. The hardest things have been the steering and the brake booster/master. Every thing else has been a pretty straight forward. Next is the pedals and fuel cell Modified by ForsFedRado at 5:17 PM 4-29-2006

dude it looking good man, looks like you like to be creative with metal. Me and my brother have done some cool stuff like that. I can definitely appricaite that kind of getterdone ethic. Quonqer all obsticale's and get it in. My brother is a machinest for USAF for 18yrs. he has done some wikked project just because he has the most pimpin tools. (GI) Why did you choose to keep it VR power when there are allot more suited motors on the market for that kind of app. is it the wiring you afaid of or do you just like vr's

I have been working with the vr6 12v since 1995 both at the dealer and eip, so I am VERY fimiliar with the a2 and a3 top to bottom. So yes It is the easiest and most effecient for me. I am hoping to get the car done in 2-3 months in time for water fest. All but paint should be done...

where did you get your intake manifold, or did you make that yourself?Did you use two of the same exhaust manifold pieces so they would both turn the same direction? Looks sweet
