 Project: Caddy Vr-series« »

I have this pickup with a hole in the bed

And VR6 that I think will fill the hole

I have 5 days off from work, so I plan on rolling it out of the garage by Tuesday. I may not get it running but I hope to get the major fab done.

The sub-sub-frame

I should be able to fit the sub-sub-frame to the body and test fit the engine tomorrow. Or if everything looks good I'll just leave it in

Well part one is kindof finished. A little sheet metal work and a strut brace and the rear will be done.
gas tank mounting up front then the 3 hard parts. 1 wiring, 2 clutch master cylinder, and 3 shift cables.

And yes, those are the Passat strut towers. They fit in better than I thought they would.
I am ready to go back to work tomorrow so I can get some rest

The only hard part is the shift cables, the other 2 are cake.
