Well, it is just a 'Design Study'. It looks slick with those wheels, but I highly doubt that 20" wheels with those miniscule sidewalls will ever make it into production.

Yes but the audi's are AWD I belive. Ya I see the S3 is a 2.0T with 240hp! Mind you it too is AWD.

I like those wheels, just not on that car. They belong on something bigger like an A6, If this car is designed for drivers that would love driving on Highway 1 then these are the wrong wheels all together. It needs something motorsportish, yet tough. I'll think of something eventually. They are really too big. Oh, and another thing I know its a study, but maybe they should think about studing something other than that chrome grill.

Well VW also has their 30th AE design study that would most likely make it stateside as a 25th Anniversary Edition. Currently rated at about 230 hp, and still FWD. I would imagine that we will see that power increase across the whole VW line, similar to the 1.8t's bump from 150 to 180.

So to answer the question, if they did have a thing about not putting 200hp in a FWD vehicle they don't anymore.
