RWD G6? That's almost more appealing than the G8. Like a BMW 3-series for the rest of us. Pontiac, I'm officially sorry for all the nasty things I said about your ribbed panelling or the lousy steering and handling of my mom's old Grand Am.

they must have confused a HELL of a lot of GM employees then. because its not just the general public...

also, how did they ever get the car over to the Nurburg Ring?(sp is way off) because i remember seeing numerous photos from there as well. it wasnt just in detroit.

and this is what gets you killed.

Hell, they probably just used photochop or a bluescreen. Photographically, you can be wherever you want to be, whenever you want to be there. I trust nothing of what I see on the internet, and about 1/5 of what I read.

What are you talking about?

This has nothing to do with all those spy shots we've seen of the real Blue Devil - this is a bunch of enthusiasts making their own fake and seeing what the public's reaction would be.

An interesting social experiment, if you will.

they make it seem like they made the ONLY SR, which thusly makes the entire production of it false.

this seems like an Ego experiment...

hmm... wonder if i could make a Tahoe SS out of my dads Tahoe, and drive it around detroit...

Those photos don't have Manufacturer tags, which if it's not a production model is a big no-no. Should have noticed that the first time through...

What I love are all the dipwads like Brenda Priddy that would have paid money for these spy shots.

Actually, Brenda was offered the photos but turned them down because she didn't think something was right with them. And for what its worth, Brenda is anything but a "dipwad".

I can't believe how many people fell for that. The discussion about why the hood is so big from the other thread are so amusing after seeing this thread.

I think you're missing part of the story here. The original pics were real. It's the second set that they faked. The pics on the Ring are of a blue Vette, ON THE RING. Hence the name Blue Devil. Those are the ones that started all the rumors to begin with.
