Please reply if you have had any fuel pump and heat related issues on your 2.0T MKV. If you live in an area where the heat during summer is typically above 90, click one....etc, etc. If you're not sure but think you may have an issue, click as such. Reference thread below for details. Thanks

mine has happened more than once. i took it in to the dealer and all they did according to the notes was uninstall/reinstall the fuel pressure regulator. kinda pisses me off because i know that next time i go driving in the heat i'm going to have exactly the same problem.
I wonder if its just the Vehicles that were built before a certain time. My 07 was built in August. I think my neighbor just drove cross country in his GTI built in Feb, and it didnt look like he had issues.
I've been driving everyday in 90+ heat for the past month, including a 2,200 road trip, and she's running like a champ! 12/06 build date if it matters.
mines been at findlay for two weeks now...first it was the sensor they were going to do, then the high pressure fuel pump and now the in tank pump thats SUPPOSED to be there tomorrow, which is why i couldnt have it back...(they wanted it to be there because apparently there are going to be a lot of replacements tomorrow and wanted mine to get one)...i dont know, i didnt buy a brand new car to have these kinds of issues at 10000 miles, plus have crappy AC to boot!!
