 pin-up girls/models« »

i searched for such a thread here and in photography and in the fashion section but no results so here it is

post up some pin-up art, i dont think we can have nudes here so keep it appropriate, since this is the art section not photography, art(paintings/drawings) only no photos
feel free to add as many as you want and if you can add the artist's name

Great Thread I feel like an 11 year old boy climbing the rope in gym class all over again

Now, I like Betty Page. She is not cute by most people's criteria, but there is just something about her that attracts me to her in a crazy way. She seems so naughty I think everyone has a person that way - you are really attracted to them but everyone else is like .

Modern hotties that I would like to see as pinups are ( for me anyway) are Sarah Silverman, Geena Davis, Jennifer Tilley, and Catherine O'Hare (back in the day).

Modern actresses done as pinups would be great.

Insert Betty Page for effect:

- 2007 Saturn Vue V6
- 98 Golf GL: Bone Stock

-2001 WE: Upsolute, 710N, N75J - I killed it. Sold to a fellow Vortexer who is going to make it better!

Oh yeah, don't tell me to search.

oh man I have one of these I found on Google that I want for a tattoo. I love this style Id love to have a scene/piece where there are a couple of them interacting or involved in the same activity...

The one i have on my work computer is a young maiden in blue work dress from the back holing groceries steady while the wind blows her skirt sideways and her bun huggers slip ever so gently down her calves. pretty dope thread BTW.

Cool, my only gripe with the photos you took are how cropped they are, and the crops aren't very aesthetically pleasing

"A pin-up girl or pin-up model is a model whose mass-produced pictures see wide appeal as pop culture. Pin-ups are intended for informal display. Pin-up girls are often glamour models, fashion models, and actresses.

"Pin-up" may also refer to drawings, paintings and other illustrations done in emulation of these photos (see the List of pinup artists). The term was first attested to in English in 1941; however the practice is documented back at least to the 1890s. The “pin up” images could be cut out of magazines or newspapers, or be from postcard or chromo-lithographs, and so on. Such photos often appear on calendars, which are meant to be pinned up anyway. Later, posters of “pin-up girls” were mass-produced."
