Volkswagen of America may be readying to pick up and relocate its offices from the Detroit suburb of Auburn Hills, but that doesn’t change the fact that Detroit’s hometown show is still an important date on Wolfsburg’s calendar. Kicking off a very busy year and with plenty to see on the Group’s various stands in a year where many manufacturers chose to introduce nothing at all.
Can't seem to find any information on weather or not they are plannaing on releaseing another turbo s beetle, any one know what the word is? A 2.0 litre Turbo beetle would be awsome!
The Passat CC shares the same transverse engine layout and scaleable architecture as the Passat sedan and wagon models. Though significantly larger than the Passat, don’t expect it to be significantly larger in price. We hear a 2.0T-powered Tiptronic base model is only expected to cost in the mid $20,000 range.
Wow a CC in the mid $20,000s!
Makes me want to take back every less than positive thing I've ever said about VW.
Now, if they could just offer a CC tdi here, as they plan to do in Europe, then all my dreams will have come true (well, almost).
