 Introducing, The all new Euro Sport Stainless Steel 3" Downpipe is here. Dyno tested to give your 2.0T VW Mk5 GTI/GLI a gain of approximately 10-12 WHP and 15-20 WTQ. This is a bolt-on two piece design, with a 3" catalytic converter. Looks great! It's a ceramic cat, right? And since it reduces at the end to fit the stock catback, would it fit any 2.5'' aftermarket c/b such as AWE?

did you do the 2.5" vs 3" testing during development and if so what did you find out? (I only ask because I know your catback is 2.5" so you must have some rational to make the downpipe a different size. Nice work!

I've dealt with Focussport which is there Ford Focus division and they have quality stuff. I'm be calling you guys for more info and most likely a purchase  .

Yes it is a ceramic cat. From looking at the AWE system, it should fit. Our downpipe is designed to fit both stock and our 2.5" cat-back exhaust system. Our downpipe size being 3" is very important for flow and power. I'm not sure if you are aware, that the 2.0T turbo outlet/flange is over 3", thus making it with 3" tubing flows better and allows for a larger inlet/outlet Catalytic. The 3" size will also be more effective with a chipped motor, race intakes, and turbo modification applications.

Yeah, I would like to know about the Cells per inch too. Was the dp tested on a car that was chipped at all and if so what type of numbers did the chipped car put down?

The SS 3" piping did provide the best overall whp gains. We dyno tested both 2.5" & 3" on stock & aftermarket systems.

On the prototpe 3" unit we made 230.7WHP & 257.8WTQ Mods on vehicle are... -GIAC 91 octane program
