I thought the OP would like a porcupines. Apparently, this long running joke response to stupid questions is now an offense punishable by point reduction.

I'll give you a legal example. If A and B enter into a contract and an expressed provision in the contract is that party A will refrain from doing X or party B can cancel the contract party B must enforce their right and cancel the contract when A does X. If party B does not, but rather continues to perform on the the contract then party B cannot, say six years after the fact, require X to be performed before canceling the contract because B has waived that provision by failing to enforce it. A has relied on B's implied waiver. In order for B to then enforce the contract with X as a precondition, he would have to NOTIFY A.

Of course, I wouldn't expect you to understand. You were probably in a pissy mood that day for some reason and decided to be a "hard ass" - it's ok, relish your "power"

Now, posting "porcupines" in an open poll, having to do with vehicles, is a violation of both.

1) Completely pointless. The user was asking how to spend $30k on a car. Not a pet.
2) Being "THE CAR LOUNGE", porcupines are not the topic of discussion. If this was the Pet forum, I could understand your argument, but since it wasn't, your post was also in violation of posting an topic inappropriate for the forum in question.

Now, surely, you are not arguing that just because something has been tolerated for "six years", that is should continue to be tolerated, even being against the rules?
