 Suspension....decisions decisions« »

Ok, it's supension time. I am ordering MSW type 12, 18inch wheels and 225/40-18 Nitto Neo-gens to rap them in. Now I need to pick a suspension. I've been reading a lot of the things on here but I hate trying to piece all the information together and it's easy to screw it up. Just looking for some strait forward answers. My TT is my daily driver for the most part. I put a decent amount of mileage on it. I want to drop it down and get rid of my wheel gap, and get some rid of some of the massive body-roll. I won't be tracking the car, and the HP will max out around 295-300. I don't need something hard core, just better than stock. I would like to bring the car down to either just above the tires, or possibly tuck them just a tiny bit. I was considering Vmaxx, but I heard someone say that with 18" wheels you will rub. Is this true? How are the Vmaxx, I don't want to bounce my kidneys off the tarmac every time I hit a bump, but I am not looking for S-class softness either. And I would like to keep the price within reason. I don't want to spend a small fortune. What say you....pictures would be awesome. Thanks all.

Not a chance I am going to cut the springs. It's such a hack job.

I think it was a joke . I was looking into Vmaxx but I dont think it will go low enough with keeping the rear perches in.. and I want to keep my perches in for adjustability... So I'm planning on going with the Stasis setup.

When i bought my koni coils i looked into it and i dont think you can tuck 18's with Vmax. My Koni's are almost all the way down at the front and all the way down in the rear, with a little tuck. I'm very happy with the Koni's

You are on the wrong forum if you don't want a hack job. This place is full of them! Good luck.
