I want a convertable... is it posible to drive a VW Cabrio and be a hetero guy? I know you can do a wide body kit... but what can you do to make it look okay with out a big body kit? Post some pics...

pretty damn sure you can. My friend has been driving a cabrio and as far as I can tell, he hasn't been making any sexual advances towards guys  Screw what other people think. If you like the cabrio, buy it.

that wont do it for the non-vw crowd. They will just think its a quick girl car. Im not sure what to tell you to do. Personally I like Cabrios as they are but to the casual observer, you would need to lower it, get nice wheels, and umm, wow, not sure what else?

Last I checked, "built-in driver's seat ass vibe" was not in the list of standard features for the Cabrio, so yes.

I don't think they look more manly when you throw wheels and tailights on the car - those are things girls do. Do you ever notice that the most obnoxious "tuned" cars are driven by girls? Especially cars with altezza-type tailights.

You could probably still go down to the garage, work on you car, still feel manly and not be worried that anyone walking by will notice your ladie's outfit.... But at the end of the day, you are still wearing women's clothes... And there is still something strange about that. So I'd say the answer to how do you make a Cabrio a man's car? Have a confidently straight male own and drive it... Because thats your only hope of salvation when someone asks why you are wearing dirtly women's clothing... "Because I dont care"

Well, the answer to your thread title is NO.The answer to the question in the body of your post is YES. The cabrio will always look like a chick's car. You can be a straight man and drive one, though. Get a beetle. Much easier to make those look badass.
