Whoa.

If someone had described this car to me, I'd have laughed. But DAMN this retro-JDM-fusion-Vette-thing really works.

Sorr, I fail to see the "retro-JDM-fusion thing." It looks like a vintage AMERICAN road race Vette. There is nothing JDM about it.

Late C3/early C4 'vettes were pretty wimpy, but in an example with that much work done to it, I'd expect there's something evil lurking beneath the hood.

The early cars were beasts but the mid 70's cars sucked.

C3 is 68-82.

Are you serious? Everyone knows that American cars never had fender flares and/or matte paint jobs before the "JDM" crowd started doing it!

And the is meant to convey sarcasm for those of you who haven't picked up on it yet.

Not suprisingly, those that think this Vette is "JDM" were born after 1980. You know, before history was recorded.

Mid year Corvette's were those built between 1963-1967. This Vette is a C3, probably late 1970's.

1978 was the first year for the bubble-back glass, 1974 was the first year for body color bumpers at both ends. So this car is a 1974-77.

Pretty wicked!

Something about it doesn't sit right with me. I can't put my finger on it, and although I like it overall, there is something unmistakably wrong with it.
