 We’re back from Waterfest 14 and gradually recovering from some nasty dehydration. Not a drop of rain was shed, which is quite unlike any Waterfest in memory, but show-goers suffered temperatures that topped out at 97 degrees on Saturday and 93 on Sunday. Despite the sweltering heat, the show area was still packed. According to Waterfest organizers, total attendance for the weekend was about 21,000, about even with last year’s tally. Full Story

Dang, My Hooptie didnt even make it in the gallery, even though it was in the show sunday.   
Had an awesome time both days though.

Here's a motion for Waterfest to be moved to a cooler month! Man, my arse is still whooped after working 3 days straight in that pressure cooker.  I thank all who stopped by to see the USRT crew sweat.

I wish I could have went out there this year... But, wow, I'm surprised that out of the whole article not even one vendor is mentioned. There's only about 4 pictures in the whole gallery as well with even a Vendor tent. I would think Vortex would be pushing hard to support the companies that keep this scene moving in a forward direction... ...Half of Waterfest or any show for that matter is the Vendor turnout. See what new products are released or what new cars they are building. I would have to say that I think Vortex dropped the ball on this article... Whoops!  -Matt

looks like the show had a great turn out.. im bummed i couldnt make it, although i will try my hardest to attend next year; 15..over 900 photos you guys posted, some of the cars looked down right Incredible & some of them were FAR from appealing. all in all its looks fantastic, thanks for posting the pics and making me feel like i attended.
