 MKVI revealed at last?« »

Didn't see any other posts about it... These pictures look semi-legit. If so, I LIKE. I LIKE A LOT.

Exterior doesn't look real to me. Interior does however. Probably;y be legit. Either way, it looks way better than the MkV.

In the 2nd pic, the rear window/C-pillar looks alot like the EP3 Civic Si.
I do like the design, though

Do want!

Though, in fairness, the other drunk Aussie getting blown onstage by the same performer operating the blowgun with her nether regions may have thrown off her aim with a hip-thrust; she might have hit the balloon otherwise.

I dig that, including the Audi-like disc-style wheels. Interior is very Eos-esque. GTI version should be tasty.

It seems like the Germans are evolving everyday with their styling, in a "better" way.

The Japanese on the other hand... seems like every single car coming out is 10x uglier than before.

x2

Can't wait to see how they make it more aggressive. Also interesting to see if we end up with a TDI version over here.

hmmmm, maybe it's the color, or maybe it's the wheels, but it doesn't do much for me. The interior is top notch though

So it's basically just a pussified Scirocco, from an aesthetic standpoint at least. That said, it does look better than the MkV, but it just makes me wish the Scirocco itself were going to be sold here instead of this..."Scirocco Lite".

There's no badges on the rear in the 4th image...

If these are real, then I think the GTI should look pretty sharp.

Can you please bring back the Golf name here, too?

Is it just me, or does this look like a mild facelift of the existing car (ala Audi B6-B7)rather than a totally new platform like the MKV was over the MKIV. Either way, I like what I'm seeing.

I read that too, but I also read that the factory has already ceased production of the MKV for the German market and has already begun retooling for the MKVI. Given how close this looks to the Tiguan and Scirocco I can't imagine they'd have much room to revise it.

Not sure, from what I understand, the new model is lower and wider. Also, since VW doesn't use "platforms" per se, they have a much greater flexibility, when it comes to building new cars.

That's essentially what it is. The frame is the same, but the body and interior have changed.

Looks like the same body with more creases.

now... instead of looking like minivan, it's a SUV from the back

though the Dash looks a lot more like it was inspired by the Eos (Scirocco).
