I'd rather push my VW then drive a Honda!

They still look blue to me...

I think the pictures just make them look more "white," because I don't see why VW would abandon the blue.

Needs TDI in the US. As in, like, yesterday.

I hope the claimed 10% lower fuel consumption versus the Jetta sedan/wagen with the same CR-TDI in the 140hp version will actually pan out.

Wouldn't mind the dynamic chassis control in a 170hp TDI.

VW EV, plug-in Hybrid, and/or 1.4-2.0 VVT&VVL T/dual-charged FSI engines for the US would be useful...

I am sorry but I just cannot resist this car. I promised myself that my lemon POS Jetta would be my last VW ever.....but now I cannot resist.

Any word on release dates for US? Any word on keyless entry and start system?

If some of these features make it here VWoA better market the hell out of these class leading features.

nice car. I like it a lot. ...and this is just the Golf, can only imagine what wonderful treatments have been saved for the GTI.

For some reason I dont this this is possible for the current Rabbit pricing of $14,995 ,, or even 19,995 but if so congrats to VW.

Ok....Ok.....Ok....

Did anyone really really read this article? Especially about the engine options!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!

VW has single handedly put to rest the most asked NEWBIE question on this forum (I too am guilty of asking this question):

"Which Forced Induction application should I get? Supercharger or Turbocharger?"

How about BOTH!! If I am reading correctly VW will be offering a super/turbo charged engine! How great is that! A supercharger for the low end rpm's and the turbocharger for the high end rpm's. Boy oh boy, VW just raised the bar. I love it.

Definetly liking this one over the Golf V. Good thing I held out, I hated the Golf V styling.

Only gripe is the Toureg style tails.

My first mod would be to shave the lights off of the hatch.

The dual charged 1.4 has been offered in Europe for 3 years, it'd be nice to see it come here but the chances are slim.

http://www.theautochannel.com/....html

I love the new design, & I can't wait to see the GTI. It fixes the main beef I have with my "new" MKV GTI, the looks. I love driving the thing & it gets better mpg than my 1.8T with almost 100 more hp (chipped) but I still think its kinda fugly.

I think I'll refrain from dropping too much $$ modding it and save up for a MKIV in 2yrs.

After seeing this I can't wait to see the GTI, Jetta and GLI! Hopefully the GTI/GLI will retain the red stripe on the nose as the MkV did. Also, by building the MkVI Jetta here in the US I'd imagine the price shouldn't be too terrible for the US market, please?
