who makes that?

Not sure about those, but a local (Vancouver, BC) company makes replica Speedsters, Roadsters, Kubelwagens and even custom stuff.

In most states its relatively straightforward to register a home built car.

So if driving a Miata makes someone "gay", does driving an Escalade make someone "black"? Think about it.

There are so many kits I want to build..

Factory 5 Cobra with a 427cj efi+turbo.
Superformance GT-40 with a 427cj
Caterham with a hayabusa motor
Porsche 356 speedster replica

I'll see more and want to build one. The K1 attack is in the range of I either love it, or hate it. I haven't decided.

Mine has an SVT motor in it and it makes around 200hp without a supercharger.
Supercharger adds weight to the engine which has an effect on handling.
The transmission from the Focus won't work, besides the Caterham 6-speed transmission is sex!

Wow, now I really hate you. More pics??

If you had the means, what KIT car would you buy, and what would you do to make it even more unique the the other kit car's of its kind? power-train, wheels, etc ?

Ever sinci saw this a few years ago, i've fallen in love with it, it looks soo well put together, and deffinantly sets itself apart from other "kits"

not sure on the wheels or power train i'd use, but i hear the stock powertrain uses a 3.0 Accord v6 ? (i'd change this or highly modify it and force feed it with turbos or a super charger)

What would you build ?

This car is in Electric Mist. First time I think I've seen a car that's exclusively a kit car in a movie.

It depends. Why don't you go to their forum to get a better idea of what building this car entails as far as $$, time and labor.

Though I recently saw the Factory 5 GTM and it is mighty impressive looking.

I'd do a Factory Five as well, but it'd be a 33 coupe.

I'd thrown an E55 engine in there for ridiculous power, and it'd have a curb weight around 2000 pounds.

Similar frame structure and suspension to the Cobra kits means it will handle too

Modern suspension, modern power, old school looks. It's a win-win in my eyes.

Damn, love the hot rod. I didn't even know they were planning that thing. I'd rather have it with an LSx than a Ford engine though. Nothing really wrong with the Ford engines, I'm just familiar with the Chevy engines.
