 New wheels... Test fit.....« »

Updated pics on page 2

Fenders will be rolled and pulled to run a proper tire. 17x10 in the rear final et22 w/ 8mm spacer. The rear subframe will have to be grinded just a smidge for full clearance. Fronts are 17x8.5 et20. no modification required. I think I will run a 255-40-17 in the rear. still undecided on the front.

225/35/17 would be perfect for optimal stretch on the rear wheels.... runs and hides

So the fenders will be pulled enough to full cover the wheel? If so...

If not... it will look pretty odd (IMO).

If you don't stretch the tires, they will stick out and look horrible.

this is a matter of opinion so, no. You are wrong imo. just wait till i post pics of the tired mounted. then make a judgement. running undersized tires is STUPID. PERIOD.

ci... but is necessary even with pulled fenders. a 260 is what is recommended so a 255 should be ample for the job.

Do you have a pic of a pulled fender over wide wheels? I've seen this done on rangers, but it looks like you have quite a ways to go. BTW I'm a big e30 fan, and not trying to start anything...I just want to see it!

They need some stretch. Otherwise you'll just end up with the beefiest tires ever, and then it will look weird.
