 FS/FT: 86 Jetta Auto, Recaros, 64k miles« »

After thinking this over for a week, I decided that I will list it and see what interest I can get.
1986 Jetta 4 door Automatic CIS 8V
64,XXX Miles!
Titian Red
Full Recaro swap
15" Borbet Wheels with good tires
FK badgless grille
New Aero Headlight setup with HID's
New Bilstien shocks with Neuspeed Sport springs
Rear Heckeblende
New timing belt
Autotech 270 cam with adjustable gear
New front motor mount
New Battery
Eurosport cat back exhaust
New rear brakes, wheel bearings
New front wheel bearings (being installed in the next week)
New ball joints and axles

Needs:
headliner (fell down finally)
5 speed swap?
has some dents and door dings

This is a clean dry desert car! We are the 3rd owners, the first was an old lady in Vegas who bought it new in 1985 and kept it in her garage. We drove this car from Las Vegas to Portland Maine in January and she made it here under her own power, unlike my 16V GLI ()

Because a price needs to be put in here, I will put $3000. I will happily trade for something different for the wife. Volvo Wagon, Subaru Wagon, something along those lines. MUST be automatic, prefer a wagon (baby on the way).

PM me with questions, comments, concerns, offers!

Pics!

When we got it:

Yea man, I will meet you halfway in NY if you want. I have family there that I wouldn't mind visiting.

The front wheel bearings are in, and new brakes go on tomorrow, then an alignment!

You are serious? This is a serious question? I will run the carfax on it and include that with it.
My friend Jeff bought the car from an old lady in Vegas. The old lady bought it new at Chaisson VW (not in business anymore) and kept it in her garage. We bought the car from my friend Jeff in April of 2006 with approx 26,xxx miles on it. It now has 64,xxx miles on it.

With the new brakes, wheel bearings, and the alignment, the car rides so good that I am thinking of not selling it.

Someone just offered to pick it up. He said I could keep the wheels, and he would give me $700 for the car. I told him to go fornicate with himself.

Let's be real here, people.
