Fast forward 1 year. The time has come to purchase new wheels and tires. I revisited VMR website and to my astoundment they were offering the VB3 in Gunmetal. I quick called Steve and overloaded him with abundance of question about the wheels construction, weight, offset, fitment, recommended tire sizing and so forth. Being that this car is a daily driver, in the end we settled for 19x8.5 (45et) all around. My main goal with this build is centered on a strict budget. We knew we wanted an elegant but yet affordable wheel design. The slight concave design and spoke thickness was a perfect match for the car. The solid mesh design was by no means a light weight wheel, 25.5 lbs per wheel but the quality, style and color was worth every penny. The gunmetal color really adds to the features already offered by the Hi-Def two tone body kit. They fill in the wheel well nicely and take the car to the next level of aggressive styling.
