i didnt have much time to work on the project this weekend, but stuff still got done..

old exhaust got yanked out.down pipe is 90 percent completed..
car is pretty quiet with just the muffler on. but im still going to put a resonator on. i can allways take it off later.

blower is making god awfull noises. but i had a 04 cobra so i know its just a 20-30 dollar piece to fix it. found out i have exhaust leaks in the front header and the back one also. easy fixes.

the blower sounds bad ass (whining) when the engine is revvvvved.

this is not how im going to run the exhaust. this is just to quiet it down a bit. while i work on it.

I don't have pics to show you now, but I will this upcoming weekend. Here's a quick rundown. Outer cv joint is going to stay vw. Inner cv joint and shaft are going to be GM. I plan to cut said shaft to the size needed. Then take it to a lathe to cut this fat thing down to fit super snugly into the outer vw part. I might have to press them together. Then weld the inner an outer parts of the shaft to the outer vw joint. Hope u get the picture from this description. I'll post the pics of the work this weekend.

Stock it's underrated at 240hp. By the time it's all said and done ,
It will be making 400hp at the wheels with ac and power steering
Working. Once it's in the car and all is working the upgrades begin.
I plan on porting the blower, porting the heads, custom exhaust
manifolds, reedone fuel system, and when I'm done with all that
I'll build the bottom end and turbo charge it.

Great project man. With that much expected HP, I'd get the axles professionally done and balanced.

Edit: Im just messin around, but I would def consider the weight.
