Just got mine on Saturday. I love it. Direct fit. OEM part. You just need to do something about the lower smiley. I have it removed, and am going to get it wrapped.

These guys have them in stock, and shipping was fast, great communication. It even came with an emblem! only 120.00

how difficult is it to swap out the grill?
I've been toying with just getting a euro style plate to hide the holes from the original front license plate bracket, but this is a much better looking solution.

That looks outstanding!! Thanks for the link for the site as well. I've been dealing with Bud at Checkered Flag (He's great by the way) but it really helps to see the parts before pulling the trigger.

What does the '10 WB have in the lower grille to eliminate the chrome strip?

Looks good. If it matters to you, you can get a replacement lower grille with the black smiley face.

Not for the black option, it only comes with the lower center grille.

I see it's Gloss black, just curious I have a standard 2010 Jetta S, will that match, or will the color be off, I can't seem to find the color codes between the two.

Thanks Bud! You are always on top of things!!

I am gonna see how it looks with the smiley wrapped (or painted ) But I know you will do us all right on the parts!
Just hope you can get them in stock soon... I couldn't wait any more.

The lower grill without the smiley is not too bad, but there are definite holes that show, so I'm gonna do it right.

I just called them up and was told that they would be getting their next batch in a couple weeks. I placed my order!

Oh and the guy I talked to was telling me how he had these grilles in for a couple weeks and then all of sudden they started flying off the shelves.. The good ol' VWVortex effect.

As of 4pm today, there really wasn't a huge waitlist. I was the first in line and I'm sure there are still some available on the next shipment coming in. I know it sounds outrageous, but phones still exist and work... Might want to try calling the vendor up and seeing if there a chance you can get you hands on one soon.

I dk, the website that I bought it from lists "limited availability" but that might just be a marketing trick. But either way its a damn good deal as it is. Its cheaper than a GTI grille.
