The Edge interests me. Drop the eco-boost in it and I'd seriously consider one.

The way I read this...October 2008 must have been a very bad sales month. Good to see the economy really is picking back up.

Translation from Canuckstan: Last year we sold 13. This year we sold 15!
Yes Martha, you can get your new 2010 Toyota 4Runner with a 4-cylinder. As long as it's 2WD. And as long as it's with an old 4-speed automatic.

Not really. Even though a few manufacturers posted huge gains (Acura was up 78% for the month) overall sales were still down -1% from last October. Most of that rests at GM's feet, which was down 33% from last October. 2009 2008 Acura 2,079 1,162 78.9% Audi 1,100 1,075 2.3% BMW 2,310 2,190 5.5% Chrysler 14,215 15,643 -9.1% Ford 18,187 15,123 20.3% General Motors 18,818 28,115 -33.1% Honda 9,224 10,293 -10.4% Hyundai 8,415 5,885 43.0% Infiniti 743 770 -3.5% Jaguar 68 55 23.6% Kia 3,603 2,925 23.2% Land Rover 224 217 3.2% Lexus 1,459 1,304 11.9% Mazda 5,612 6,109 -8.1% Mercedes-Benz 2,199 1,720 27.8% MINI 380 481 -21.0% Mitsubishi 1,452 1,338 8.5% Nissan 5,912 6,063 -2.5% Porsche 130 114 14.0% Saab 41 105 -61.0% smart 228 270 -15.6% Subaru 2,486 1,784 39.3% Suzuki 1,336 1,316 1.5% Toyota 17,354 14,539 19.4% Volkswagen 3,545 3,662 -3.2% Volvo 380 453 -16.1% Light Vehicle Sales 121,500 122,711 -1.0% Sorry for the hard to read chart, the Forum doesn't like to format....

Faced with the worst sales decrease among Asian carmakers, Honda Canada just reduced their prices for 2010.

I find the Ford gains rather surprising. The SHO starts at 48,188 which is about 10k more than it does in the US. By comparison the S4 starts at 52,150.

Same here. I see a TON of the new F-150, but that is about it. Don't think I've even seen a new Taurus on the road yet...
