Foreign Parts Specialties off of Elvas usually has some OEM parts for you. I pick up my maintenance stuff there. Maintenance stuff I can't get there, I either pick up online or I hit up European Sports Car Garage. In fact, I'm picking up a jug of Pentosin this afternoon.

In regards to service, I've taken my MkII Jetta 16v to Larryz Auto Works. They've been good with my MkII. Wes Lasher in downtown has been good too. Although, my car's been dinged there before by one of the techs. I heard there's a guy in Elk Grove that's good : Bill at Vortex Automotive off of Bendel Place. You can try him.

Hope that helps.

I used to work for FPS and I still go there for my parts (even without the discount). Talk to JC (shaved head and tats) tell him Dave sent you.

I've seen a bunch of the FPS guys around in the MkIII Jettas. Cool folks. I've been going there for awhile.

I wonder if I've order from that guy before... He wanted to start up shop here in Sacramento, but that was about 2 years ago. I guess nothing ever happened with it...???

"Vortex" Bill is a great person to deal with, for peeps who lives in the south area.

Also, Mike who's here in the "tex", the watercool mech at Kombi Haus/Broadway & 34th, always has projects in workx .......

Kombihaus does really good work. Honest, friendly mechanics that are hardcore VW fans. I've always been satisfied with their service.
