going to be running 20ish ET front, 15 or so in the back. tires and camber seem to be key at this size...

yea and your car looks really good, but it's pushing it IMO, i just don't see the point of going over 8 inches, but to each their own.

im flush with no stretch on 7's at ET6 up front. im adding 17mm outward. Stretch and very mild camber will tuck tire perfectly fine. No "mad poke"

Worst case, I run 16v flares. I know what I'm doing.

if you aren't yet convinced...

15x8 ET0 which extends 1mm past my further stretched/smaller/cambered if necessary tire.

is it unnecessary? yup. very. practical? nope.

considering the extremes people go to with their cars as far as being low, polishing everything, apply the same principles and tell me it doesn't generate some pretty cool results once in a while.

wheels going on are ARE 398's.

ive done the math. I am just under completely flush with 8v flare with a 7" et6 front. i am adding a total of 17-20mm outward. I will have poke, but it'll fit tire under arch fine. Like i said before, if necessary I'll run a little camber and 16v flares if I need to. They will work.

well, im starting with an ET35 16x9.5 and ending at an et17 16x9.5. I will have rim edge sticking out 3/4 of an inch from the flare before tire.

oh and.. 15x10 fronts.

Take all the bets you need. I mocked em up against my porsche adapters this afternoon, they'll be fine and they dont poke all that much, even with the suspension unloaded on a jack. Do you really think anyone in their right mind would shell out $350 in adapters knowing it will look like crap? Equally "aggressive fitment" has been achieved with 15x8s (frequently on here.. sportmax 002s put them past where mine will end up) with less room to stretch. Christ I've seen 9 million cars with 16x9 et15 borbets on the front and it work's fine... it's not as if I'm running stupid negative offsets.. These are far beyond what is needed, and that's half the fun. Vortex pesemism at times boggles my head.

What is the point of any thread? I wanted to see it done, I couldn't find anything till this afternoon, and the car it's on looks fine.

Who the hell is "Dub Itch" and why does this person own the rights to pink wheels? My car is baby blue with pink accents.. ive wanted to try out pink wheels for sometime. It's mine, can I do that?

To each their own, but it looks like to me that the previous setup is about bang on. I am also not sure what the point of going up to a 9.5 rim and not upgrading the tire as well.

Got something productive to say or do you just hate BBS'?

more of equivalent outward fitment. this time under 16v flares.

more wideness. with 3" hoops he should be right around ET10 which is as close in positioning to mine in terms of width and outward poke. I won't be this low as its a daily, im about 70-75 mm down from stock on springs. I'll be going to coils in the spring.
