What always blows my mind about these kinds of things is that a whole lot of people over a fairly significant period of time had to all say "Yeah, this is a good idea. We should keep spending money on it."

While many people do not regard this as beautiful, keep in mind that this was 1970 and, for the time, it was outrageous. More important, it got Bertone's foot in the door with Lancia and from that, the production Stratos was created.
Again, some people do not consider that beautiful either, but when either of these cars is viewed in person, I guarantee you that you will say "Wow!"Either way, who here would turn a ride down? Anybody? Come on, somebody here would. Don't be chicken, fess up. It's ok. Nobody's going to hurt you, we're just going to add you to our ignore list.
