I'd be more concerned with the fact the paint doesn't even remotely match on the front bumper.

Did he put a spoiler on top of a factory spoiler?

I don't know about that...

If you look at the leading edge of the headlight housing, it is the same color as the bumper, but the rest of the headlight cover is the same color as the hood. So while the paint might be mismatched, I think it has more to do with the sun and the angle it is reflecting off of the surfaces.

That car has been on Craigslist forever. I looked at a couple NSX's about 3-4 months ago, and it was still there.

lowball him
reapint the front bumper and get rid of that rear wing

if it's mechanically sound, it might be worth it
especially if he's had issues getting rid of it

Hopefuly he still has the original, as that spoiler clearly replaces the original.

truly horrific.

de-rice-ing it should be easy.

however, i would caution against the car more based on my theory that those that rice the outside race the inside, and i would be willing to bet that it was driven very hard as it is quite clear that a retard owns it. who KNOWS what's going on with the engine, trans, and other items.

You should give him the offer to give you his car and in return you won't set it on fire in front of him.

That said...

I love NSXs. If only they weren't so expensive to maintain.

Not much, of course it's no Civic or accord, and yes scheduled services can be pricy, that's why you should have a DD when you have an NSX, still, a good local "Honda" Mechanic with experience will be a cheaper alternative comparing to the dealer, member, it's still a Honda

Clear bra or angle/light. If it were a replaced/repainted bumper, that would not explain the edges of the hood/lights also the same color
