So I finally got around to sorting and cropping (some of) the pictures I took at the Canadian Formula 1 race last year. You may C&C, if you like, but I may not pay attention. I also included some pics from the hotel and Montreal in general. Without further ado, here we go.
The "Welcome" sign at the track.
The flyover.
The end of the F430 Challenge race.
Kimi getting a pre-race ride courtesy of the Austin Healy club of Montreal (per my memory).
The grid girls carrying the flags of the drivers' countries, in qualifying order.
Race shots.
Montreal Skyline.
Some architecture in the city.
The enclosed courtyard of the hotel we stayed in.

Thanks! I saw that on the way back from the track from qualy and knew it had to be shot. I have no idea what it is, or why they designed it like that, but you notice it.

I believe it was the airport Hilton. It turned out to be on the far end of town from the track (I had to pick it at random because my ex-fiancee's father could get us tickets, but had to say yes like right then, so I just grabbed a room). I wouldn't recommend it, by the way, despite the beautiful interior. The staff was very unhelpful, and I had to get directions to the track from the other hotel next door (whose name I forget).
