The lift is by Autolifters out of Kansas. I have had it for 3 years and paid 3k including shipping and all the xtras. We did a group by of 3 of them (some of my buddies). It took us all day to move/install all three of them. They are freestanding and can roll around on casters!

You must have a very understanding wife! I feel honored to have my 337 be featured among such awesome cars. How did you decide on the 337? I had a chance to buy a '86 911 turbo look Carrera (mint) for 12K two years ago from a friend of the family who had just been widowed. I turned it down b/c I felt like I'd be taking advantage of a bad situation. She sold it to some random bargain hunter for 12K instead . I bought a TT instead. Nice car but no 911 or even 337 .

Hi Jeff,Actually, my M coupe is my track car. I race in BMWCCA club races under H-Stock. I usually take it to Willow Springs, Buttonwillow, Calif. Speedway, or Laguna Seca. Give me a call sometime if you want to talk about it: 714-596-4777. Also, I instruct at several driving schools and use it to take students around for some hairy rides! Here is a picture of it ready for the track.

To answer a few questions:The Porsche Logo is vinyl letters with stickers (from the dealer) that I put down when I was having the floor done. It is not Epoxy...it is a 5 stage polymer that is super toxic. They pour it on and move it around with a mop. before they put the final clear coat on, I layed down the vinyl graphics so it looked like it was painted. The tools are in the back, There is a cuby hold in the back that its about 6'x5' and I have a big Craftsman tool chest back there. I also have detail cabinet at the front of the garage. The RS is basically a bastard. It started life as a 1973 Silver 911T. The orig. owner was able to work a deal with the factory and in 1977, the factory turned it into an RS with a Real RS lightweight motor (2.7L) with MFI. The car was hill climbed in Colorado for about 10 years and finally had a full restoration in 1997 by the previous owner. The previous owner updated the brakes to 2000 Cross drilled boxster brakes with a factory RSR oil cooler in the front. The car dynoed at 205hp/215tq. at the rear wheels and only weighs 2,118lbs. dry. I chose the 337 because I wanted a safe car to take my 2year old daughter around in. I wanted something new and under warranty and I wanted something fun to tune and play with without costing a fortune. I came very close to getting a Mini Cooper S, but after tax, the car was almost 30k and no where near as fun as the GTI. I liked the 337 because it was different and unique. I do miss having a sunroof, and will probably put in an aftermarket one...any suggestions?

The roof rack is by Aterra and the basket is by Thule (called Lapplander). You can order through Rack N Pack in Seattle.

Whats up with the 550 spyder? Is that a replica? I really dig the 911 RS, must be a handfull at speed.... I really dig the garage...
